Christmas came early for hundreds of underprivileged families in Belle Glade.

Santonio Holmes, a former National Football League wide receiver and Super Bowl MVP, donated more than $15,000 worth of gifts to children and teenagers in need through his nonprofit 10 ALL IN Foundation.

A former Ohio State University football standout who spent nine seasons in the NFL, Holmes formed the organization in an effort to bring positive change to the lives of underprivileged kids in communities like Belle Glade, where he was born and raised.
“It means a great deal to see Santonio invest in the lives of children who are growing up in the same area he did," said Marcia Andrews, a Palm Beach County School Board member who represents District 6. "I know this Christmas will be one to remember for them."

Holmes attended a Tri-City family event in Belle Glade, where all of the gifts were delivered to families and local teenagers.

10 ALL IN Foundation partnered with United Healthcare and local farmers from U.S. Sugar to purchase the gifts and ensure at-risk teens will be taken care of this Christmas.

“A community is only as great as the people and businesses in it," Belle Glade Mayor Steve Wilson said. "We can’t thank U.S. Sugar and United Healthcare enough for all they do for us."
